How to stay safe and have fun during this Isolation period #Staysafe😷😷

Nî haó!

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, the world has been put on standtill and even here in Nigeria, a total of 232 cases have been recorded, 33 Recoveries and 5 deaths announced.
Thus, to contain the disease and prevent it from spreading, people are being advised to stay at home. Ptechbuddy however, want to give you some tips to help you stay safe during this period.

1. Self Isolate and call the NCDC if you have Symptoms

According to professional medical research, symptoms of Coronavirus are fever, cough , runny nose and difficulty breathing. If you have been exposed to anyone with the virus or just got back from a high risk country, seek medical attention if you begin to exhibit any of the symptoms.

2. Use a Hand Sanitizer and Wash your hands frequently

If you must go out, remember to thoroughly wash your hands for about 20 seconds and don’t forget your fingernails too. Ensure that you thoroughly wash your hands with soap or an alcohol-based sanitizer. This is the most effective way to kill the virus on your hands.

3. Maintain Social distancing

According to reports received from the World Health Organization, everyone is expected to maintain some distance from people, thus, please Keep at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. This is necessary because anytime someone coughs or sneezes, they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.

4. Listen To Songs on Boomplay

We all know that music heals and it surely helps take the pain away and that was why the great Bob Marly said, One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. Be sure to download the Boomplay App and catch up with over 5,000 songs released by your favourite musicians accross the globe. You can also check out the stay home, 'stay at home category on the App' to get good music.

5. Don’t Touch Your face

Do not touch your face! This is because, the hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you get symptoms of the virus.

6. Cough and Sneeze properly

It is important to protect yourself and your environment by covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. After this, make sure you dispose of the used tissue immediately. This protects the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.
